挨拶いろいろ The ways to greet
国が違うと当たり前だけど挨拶の仕方が違う。私はアジア諸国にあまり行った事がないので、その辺とは比べられないけど、アメリカの場合は大抵はハグで、ヨーロッパの場合は大抵キスである。キスもほっぺたに 右、 左 と２回する国（又は地域）もあれば、スイスだと３回くらいとか、フランスの北から来た友達は４回とか言っていた・・・。
何人かのグループで集まったりしたら、一人一人とキスをするので挨拶だけでやたらと時間がかかる。。。
日本人同士の場合、私の友達の大抵は海外で出会った日本人など海外生活経験があるので、日本で会ってもハグで出会いの挨拶をし、ハグで別れる。
私は個人的にスキンシップ大好きなタイプなので、日本人の友達ともハグをして挨拶をしたい。男友達の中にはこっちが無理矢理バイバイのハグをしても、ギュっと返してくれない人もいる。。照れてるのか・・・ 相手にあたるほどおっぱい大きいわけでもないんですけど・・
まるで壁をハグしているような・・・悲しいけど、ま、強制はできない・・。
先日、ロシア人の学生に日本語を教えていた時の事、日本語を教えるという事は日本の文化や習慣などを教える事でもあるので、日本では挨拶にハグやキスをしないのだよ、と伝えたら、私が今まで見た事もないくらいのリアクションで驚かれた。。。。
「ありえない・・・」と。
彼女にとって、肌で相手を感じるという事はとーっても大切なんだそう。
私も日本では相手を感じるのだよー そういう文化なんだよー とは思っても、やっぱりいつも日本に帰って、寂しいなー と思う所。
触れ合って分かり合う方が、触れないで分かり合うより楽。

I guess each country/region has a way to greet. In general, Japanese people don't hug to say hello and bye. I haven't been to some other countries in Asia, but by seeing the cultures in the U.S. and Europe, it's totally different from Japanese one.
In the U.S., people usually hug to greet, and in Europe, people kiss. In Germany, we usually kiss 2 times. but you kiss 3 times in Switzerland and 4 times in North of France. So, it takes long time to greet when you meet many people at the same time.
I also do "hugging greetings" with my Japanese friends because most of them used to live in the foreign countries.
I love body contact. So, for me it's really important to touch. Some of my Japanese male friends don't like to hug. I don't know if they are just too shy or something, but it's a bit sad when I try to hug them and say hello, I feel like they are walls because they don't hug me back.
Last week, when I was teaching a girl Japanese, I explained her about Japanese culture and customs. She is from Russia. When I told her that we don't hug, and I have never hugged my mom or sisters, she was very shocked. She told me that it's really important for her to communicate by touching.
In Japan, we feel each other, but I guess it's much easier to feel each other by touching each other....
